Opening Summer 2012
Makis Place is a Japanese restaurant where you can have typical, fast, casual food. First created in Brazil, nowadays, Makis Place is the lagest chain of Japanese restaurants in South America with nearly 100 restaurants. Makis Place has selected CocoWalk to be its first restaurant location in the USA. The plan is to open 10 new restaurants before July 2013.
Makis Place specialty is the big sushi called Tamaki, which means “roll in hands” in Japanese.
That is why Makis Place is a Tamakeria. The Tamaki is made with a seaweed sheet, special rice, and a filling that customers can choose from over 50 different choices. The Temaki can be eaten with your own hands because it is protected properly to avoid finger contact.
High quality salmon, tuna, vegetables, and rice, among others fresh foods, are carefully chosen to make our customer’s experience unforgettable. Every month over one million Tamakis are served throughout the Makis Place chain.
